This spring loaded tool is 4 inches long and made from durable plastic. Protective sheild slides up and down with felting movement, and can also be locked in place to protect the needles - and anything they might come close to - when not in use.

The Process:

All tools use barbed needles to embed fibers into a base fabric. The process is very simple- an up and down stabbing motion. The Clover tool has spring loaded needles, making it easier to use and a bit faster than traditional felting needles.

Lay base fabric on brush mat: arrange fabric, fibers or yarn; press down with the tool to anchor. Anchor securely with repeated actions.

You will get the best results needle felting with natural fibers, particularly wool roving. But half the fun is experimentation! Try ribbons, trims, synthetic yarns, scraps of fabrics. Test potential materials on a scrap to make sure they needle in to your liking. Embellish and appliqué with ease!
