The Large Felting Needle Mat is a brush-like mat that enables smooth punching with little resistance, and allows the fibers of the piece being felted (or the appliqué) to mesh well with the base fabric. Use the mat in place of the foam rubber to extend the life of your needles. Approximate size of mat surface is 3.25" x 5.25"
