Indygo Junction

This darling apron is made in the sweet vintage style of the Dick and Jane story era. The big sister style slips over the head, while the little sister version has a Velcro closure at the neck for safety. Both sizes tie at the waist.  Two hemline variations plus eight pocket options let you make each apron unique.  Each takes less than a yard of cotton, and bias tape finishes the edges. Couple this apron to match Indygo Junction's adult Lucy & June style (IJ824) for a cute mother and daughter set. Sizes Big Sister (sizes 7-10) and Little Sister (4T-6)

Materials Needed:
Big Sister "Jane" Apron:

• 3/4 yards of 44"/45" wide cotton fabric
• 4 yards of prepackaged 1/4" wide double fold bias tape. Optional: Or 3/4 yards of contrasting fabric for making bias tape and a 1/2" bias tape maker
• Buttons or other trim embellishments as desired - about 6-7" in length
• Optional: One 4" piece of 1/4" wide elastic for Elastic Top Pocket

Little Sister "Sally" Apron:

• 3/4 yards of 44"/45" wide cotton fabric
• 4 yards of prepackaged 1/4" wide double fold bias tape. Optional: Or 3/4 yards of contrasting fabric for making bias tape and a 1/2" bias tape maker
• Buttons or other trim embellishments as desired - about 6-7" in length
• One 2" piece of sew-in Velcro 
• Optional: One 4" piece of 1/4" wide elastic for Elastic Top Pocket
