Quilted Purses – Quilting Fun for Everyone!

I admit that I’m not a quilter! I love the idea of quilting – the colors, the patterns, the artistic expression, but I hate the time commitment. I’m guessing there are a lot of people out there like me who want to get that “quilt” look but in a smaller project.

Which brings me to my topic for today. I LOVE purse making! Indygo Junction has taken the fun of quilting & piecing and incorporated it into several of its purse, tote and accessory designs. In addition to that, many of our purses feature “blank canvas” areas that can be used to add your favorite quilt block. Amy Barickman’s Vintage Notions has several articles and features on these methods including techniques you can use to make your next purse project uniquely your own!
